Having recently purchased two empty retail units at the base of a new apartment development in Liverpool city centre JB Leitch commissioned Snook Architects to obtain planning approval and implement on site the complete fit out of a new office for the company. The units were in the truest sense 'shell' units enjoying not so much as any services; let alone any frontage. Permission was quickly agreed with the local council and the unit fully finished less than six months later. Internally the office is relatively conservative in finish and its minimal approach hides a complex servicing strategy [the flexibility of which has already allowed some substantial re-planning as in less than twelve months the company has quickly expanded and already outgrown the space].
